How about bin/compact "catalogname" ? (I´m not sure about the right name

Regarding "Hung..." and "Can´t...". I have similar trouble. Regarding
robots, i have write a robot.txt to disallow any URL with
"scan" and this solve at 30%-50%. Hmmm...to restrict or less the access
to the shop by robots, i have set it in my catalog.cfg (Robotlimit). But
if a robot reach the limit, MV is hunging.

But from time to time, MV is restarting by my watchdog program (a script
via crontab). In most common case, i am able to find the reason. But in
last 4 days, i´m wondering, why MV server is unavailable two times every
day. I have no hints why. Are there any way to get any informations of
this behavior?
