[mv] Still trying to get the spreadsheet function on minimate working

Minimate is behaving intermitently:
In efforts to get the *spreadsheet* function to work I first found that
there is a threshold at the 627'th record where the spreadsheet function
brings an error.

Changing the last record still returns an error.

I found, with different data, that there is another diferent threshold
where the error occurs, but, with this data,  it's more than 700 records.

the error is:

 /cgi-bin/foo/process Runtime error: Bad sort routine:
> sub {
>       my @a = (split /\       /, $a, 2)[];
>       my @b = (split /\       /, $b, 2)[];

> }

> syntax error at (eval 96) line 2, near "[]"
