[mv] Can one catalogue serve multiple stores?

****** message to minivend-users from Andrea Cocchiglia <aco@electricmonk.csse.monash.edu.au> ******

I'm in the process of setting up an ecommerce platform to service
several wholesalers; these companies, say "Jim" and "Bob", share some of
their suppliers: for these shared suppliers, the wholesalers' product
catalogues are identical, as is the pricing structure.
Is it possible to set up minivend such that Jim and Bob have independent
"ecommerce stores" but their catalogues are obtained from a single
database?

BTW, I have installes the demo catalogues and noticed that the links at
the bottom of the static html page (Home, Profile, Products, Contact
Registration) are broken: if the catalogue Bob is located at
server.com:/home/minivend/Bob, the "Home" link refers to
http://server.com/~minivend/Bob/server.com/cgi-bin/minivend/Bob/index.html
Is this a bug in minivend or a misconfiguration problem (the dynamic pages'
links are fine)?

 Thanks
