[mv] Variable Not Working Right. HELP!

G'Day Folks,

I have just a quick question, to see if someone else has 
tried to do this.

In the catalog config file you can add additional 
variables. Like the ones used to do the leftside, 
rightside, and menubar.

Since the index, browse, browse1, and results pages all 
return the same item information, and only the flycat 
page differs. I wanted to create a variable 
"BASICRESULTS" which I could just update then cut the 
code out of the four files and put in a 
"__BASICRESULTS__" tag and just let it be inserted on 
the fly when a customer asks for it.

Now here is the catch, Minivend puts the file in 
perfectly, however it doesn't expand the tags out in it. 
So what I wind up with is instead of the information on 
the item I just see a lot of [item-field ????] variable 
names.

I just searched the manual and I can't find a tag that 
forces it to take a second look and replace the 
[item-field ?????] tags with the actual item data.

Any ideas??
