I have to restrict the database fields that are searched. I
have placed
[set search_profile]
mv_search_field=description mv_search_field=category mv_search_field=manufacturer mv_orsearch=yes [/set] in the header, and
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="mv_search_field"
VALUE="description">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="mv_search_field"
VALUE="category">
<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="mv_search_field"
VALUE="manufacturer">
in the form.
If I just leave in either category, manufacturer, or both, it
searches fine, but as soon as I include "description" it searches every field in
the database.
Any thoughts as to why?
