Thanks.  And I agree. I have the simple store
installed on another computer and use it a lot.  I
just had a hard time finding exactly what I was
looking for so went to the docs.  I'm just going
through a few small growing pains while I convert my
catalog from MV3.14 to MV4.

I really appreciate the effort that went into this
software. I was looking at solutions on several
platforms and most "prepackaged" software had
limitations and cost $500-$2000!  I looked at Mike's
open source e-commerce solution.  I just started using
MV in Dec. 99 and have picked up most of my knowledge
by looking at his examples and adapting them to fit my
needs.  And they do adapt WELL!  It is very easy to
learn, but some of the fine points take time.  You
can't beat the price, and the "customer service" is
better than you'd get at most software companies!! 

MV is an ENABLING technology - I wish I knew more Perl
so I could help (working on that) instead of just
asking questions.  This is an excellent example of
open-source software all due to Mike's efforts.  Is
this your day job too Mike?  Is your company hiring?
