[mv] Error: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY reference...

My problem appears to be exactly the same as Pugdog's (see his note of March 11). I have
re-installed MV 4.02 three times now, and the installation *seems* to go smoothly. However,
when I configure the simple catalog (using all the default settings), minivend refuses to
restart. Here's the exact error message:
Configuring catalog simple...simple config error: Can't use an undefined value as an ARRAY
reference at [$MV_ROOT]/lib/Vend/Table/InMemory.pm line 123
Details of my environment....
PERL VERSION: 5.005_03 built for sun4-solaris
OPERATING SYSTEM: SunOS
RELEASE: 5.6
MACHINE: sun4u
CPU's: 2
I would greatly appreciate your help.
