[mv] Undefined catalog:
****** message to minivend-users from Fred Romito <fred@fabrikant.com> ******
Hi,
I am new to this product but, after looking
at this problem for a few days I could use
some help.
I have installed MiniVend
on an Netfinity running Linux 6.1
I used the rpm version to install and all seems fine.
Both the basic and simple catalogs work
Overtime I try to run a catalog constructed with bin/makecat
I get the Undefined catalog: message
Here is the output from restarting the server. I just created the
testcat catalog.
The Minivend server was not running
(/usr/local/minivend/etc/minivend.pid).
Low traffic settings.
Calling MiniMate....
Minimate is loaded.
MiniVend V4.03
Configuring catalog basic...done.
Configuring catalog simple...done.
Configuring catalog testcat...done.
MiniVend server started in INET and UNIX mode(s) (process id 7894)
Continuing in UNIX MODE ONLY
The only error message I have been able to find is in the web servers
error log
[Thu Mar 30 20:13:33 2000] [error] [client 192.168.1.21] File does not
exist: /h
ome/httpd/html/testcat/ALINK=
I tried to check the file permissions of testcat vs. simple but the
files are owned
by the same user and the sticky bit seems to be set the same.
If anyone has any idea on what is going on, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
Fred
