Hello all,

   Just wanted to add my two cents. I run bsdi and have a lightly used
minivend catalog. I have never been able to find any correlation between
cpu usage, memory usage, minivend usage etc. and minivend dying. When
I discovered that the frequency varied drastically between two machines 
that are
software mirror images of each other, I gave up on finding a solution.

  I have been just counting on the minivend restart script. Sometimes minivend
will die 4 times in a hour and then it will run for a couple of days, and I 
been unable to
find any reason.

   One thing I do know is that with the first versions of minivend 3.06 and 
3.07, that I installed,
I did not see this problem.
