I noticed, you use the notepad. This is a windows program. If your shop
is running in UNIX OS and you send your userdb file (ASCII) via ftp,
use the ASCCII-Mode of your ftp program. WIN/DOS has another line
ending codes. My suggestion is, deleted all user in your userdb file
and store the empty userdb file into your catalog. Make a new account.
Then look into the minivend maillist archivs and search for "export
userdb expuserdb". There is an email of me about how to export the user
data into another ASCII file. The email has for example this part of
codes:
 
[tag flag write]expuserdb[/tag]
[tag export userdb expuserdb]Proceed[/tag]

Look for this email. Make a page to export the user and look into the
file for example "expuserdb (catalogs/yourshopname/products/expuserdb).
You get your user data _with_ password. Maybe you h´ve no luck, if the
password is encrypted and this cause your trouble.
