In lieu of someone else spotting the problem and recommending a 
solution, I'll see if minivend 4.02 does the same thing this weekend, 
and then I'll take a look at the highlighted perl code to try and 
understand what it is attempting to do. The error message indicates 
that there's a missing function DBI::create, which appears to be part 
of minivend, so I'll look to see if the appropriate file and function 
is lurking in the previous version.
