Now that I've had a chance to nose around the archives of the
minivend mailing list a bit, I've found some mention of something
called dbi/dbd that needs to be installed before any of this will
work. I don't know what that happens to be exactly, but I'm sure
it'll prove to be a useful addition if I track it down and install
it. I'll bet its even mentioned in a manual somewhere.
