I also receive this and I am wondering if the problem is MV 4.04 or the
newest CPAN update. Makecat with 4.03 worked fine on the same system.

I tried on two machines and got the same thing, so I believe it's a MV 4.04
issue.

Looks like a work around will be to rpm -e minivend-4.04-1.i386.rpm to
remove the new one and then rpm -i minivend-4.03-1.i386.rpm to install the
older version.

Once the old version is installed, use makecat to create your catalogs then
remove it and reinstall the latest.

Well I will start with the specifics:

RedHat 6.2
Installed Bundle::CPAN, Minivend & libnet
perl 5.005_3
Minivend 4.04


Install went without a hitch and both cats run fine but tried to install
another cat and got this:

Installed the binaries (.rpm), any ideas on how to resolve this one? not
new to minivend but has been awhile.
