I start MiniVend with bin/minivend -u (UNIX MODE ONLY) or i restart
MiniVend with bin/minivend -r.
The error msg "We're sorry...." tell to you, the MiniVend server is not
reachable. You can use for example the program "top -U<minivenduser>"
and search for the line with the <minivenduser> and a word "perl". If
your are missing this, Minivend server is not running. If you can see
it, maybe the vlink or tlink (with the name of your catalog, for example
"basic") has a wrong permissions. Did you see another output after using
./restart? What did bin/makecat telling you at the end?

Regards,

	Joachim
