Hi.

This is a bit off-topic for minivend-users, so please respond via direct
mail if you feel your comments shouldn't be for general distribution to
the list.

We'd like to collect recommendations and any opinions (+/-), anecdotal
stories, etc., about merchant banks offering Internet CC accounts.  We'd
also like some figures on normal transactions and setup fees charged by
banks, what an ISP/developer can/should expect as "royalty sharing" on
transactions.

We contacted Wachovia via a form at
<http://www.cybercash.com/fi_display/home.html>.  We took a call the next
day in response.  Thinking we were talking to a Wachovia agent, we
explained far more than we'd have ever explained to a potential
competitor.  Apparently, we were talking to an agent for FirstData.com,
intent on pushing their SurePay gateway solution on our clients.  At this
point, we're not clear on who the guy actually represents.  His email is
at firstdata.com, and his office number is at Wachovia.

We prefer full control of the server programming, choice of merchant bank,
etc.  We'd also like a bit more propriety.
