Well I'm not 100% happy either. I tried two different menu systems
Acis and Joust. Acis is very beautiful and a charm to work with.
Problem is IE4 and 5 does not alway update the frames. If I remove
something from the basket or change the quantity and then click on
the Basket link in the menu it will show the old basket. Netscape
does not have this problem.

Joust menus works in this respect but I did not 100% like the look of
it and also the images disappeared when doing a mouseover. I
struggled with that for 2 days before giving up.

Problem with most menu systems is that the Javascript wants to build
the frameset. Then you have a Javascript building a frameset that
runs under a CGI script (MV). I have got some REALLY weird results.

No I'm using an expandable outline from
http://www.webreference.com/dhtml/column12/outIEone.html

This uses dynamic HTML to hide and show the outlines. It is messy to
work with espacially if it should function also for Netscape. In IE
the outlines work inside a table but in NS.
On the plusside is that the Javascript is selfcontained in the left
frame and MV can build the frameset.

You can see it at
http://www.softbrains.fi/~nykab/cgi-bin/shop/frames (in swedish) It
is very raw yet and contains a LOT of simple structure still.

You can see the Acis menu at
http://www.softbrains.fi/~myntti/simple/

It is also not a finished product
