[mv] Database Edit in Minimate

I'm using the spreadsheet editor tool in minimate to update inventory on
the tabel products. When I add a new item and then return to the
previous page using the back button the new item doesn't appear. This
makes sense to me but it doesn't appear, nor do any other changes I've
made, after i do a shift-refresh. However, if I search on them they
appear and if I leave the spreadsheet mode and then reenter it from the
edit menu I can see the changes.

Any reason for this? Is the database only loaded once when you enter the
spreadsheet mode and you have to exit and then reenter the mode to see
the updates? Is there anyway around this that anyone knows of?
