For a long time I used "rpl" to remove these (that's a console tr replacement
of sorts for those of you that haven't ever heard of it,) "'s from my stupid
XLS files, until I started setting the EXCEL thingy in the configuration files
for the database.

This seems to do a very neat job.  Check it out in the docs...
