My experience is that Excel will quote CSV (comma seperated value) outputs if a comma,
apostrophe or quote exists in the text and when have the same type of problems with TAB (tab
delimited values) additionall if a TAB exists in the alpha field.
I'm running an old version of Excel, 1995 I believe, but if I recall, some of the newer
versions may allow you to tell Excel not to quote on export.
