My experience with the trouble of right using of [if...] tell me some
more story.
Some common case of the trouble/problem is:
- you have too much [if...] and too deepest [if...] constructions.
- you try to check some tag, which canīt us in any [if ..]
constructions.
- Some UserTag canīt use with [if...] tags.
A carefully using to check any value or output of any tags is to set it
into the scratch variable and use this variable for the if conditions
instead. For example:
[set name="name-of-the-scratch-variable"
interpolate=1][any-tag-to-check][/set]
(all in one line)

Joachim
