[mv] Requesting the complete table after inserting the "mv_spearchspec" tag

Hello list,

we still try to switch our shop data to a SQL-Server and we still have the
following problem:

Accessing the database via [data...] or sending SQL-queries via [query] are
no problem for the system. Everything works fine. With the tcpdump utility
we found out, that only the selected rows are transmitted between MV and the
remote Interbase Server.

If we do a search with mv_sql_query WITHOUT mv_searchspec only the result
rows are transmitted, too. But after inserting the mv_searchspec into the
FORM, MV seems to request the complete table from the InterBase Server. In
this case only the result rows are displayed, so I think that MV do a local
data filtering. Why?

Does anybody know about this problem? I don't know exactly how to debug this
and I found no why to display the SQL-statement sent to the remote (or
local) Interbase server.
