Which MV Version you are using?
Did you create the directory "log" first?
As I said, it works! I think, the cause of your problem is anywhere
outside of the codes ([tag file....]).
If you are using MV4.00 - MV4.03, you have to use [tag
arg="path/file"...].
Did you get any message from your error.log?
Has the directory a right permissions?
What happen, if you use the filename (without directory) only?
