I can confirm this behaviour too. Working with MV 3.12 doesn't cause any
problems but 4.04 does. It looses the id and generates a new one. I found it
out, wanting to log in in minimate. It just doesn't work (you need cookies to
be enabled). If you just press ok, without any username/pass, you can see that
the ID changes.

this is weird.
