[mv] problems after running makecat
****** message to minivend-users from Pedram Saleh <pedram@vaxxine.com> ******
Minivend: 4.04 - Perl: 5.005 - Linux: 2.2.14mdk (Mandrake 7)
Hi, I ran makecat and I entered all the info and it proceeded to move
files and stuff like that (it gave me an error with creating the
database in mysql, but that's ok because it was already created when i
ran it before). Then I enter "localhost/simple" in my browser and the
sample catalogue page comes up, but none of the links work. It tries to
access html files in /cgi-bin/simple/ but that directory doesn't exist.
Did makecat not work right, or did I not give it the right info? I used
the sample directories it suggested while makecat was running because
they all seemed to make sense, and they corresponded with the program
locations on my system. Do I need to run makecat again or do something
else? I checked locale.error and there are a bunch of errors which
don't make sense to me but the last two are "'bin/minivend:17', "can't
set group to GID %s: %s"" and "'bin/minivend:18', "Reconfig '%s'
rebuild=%s"". Also, when I try "localhost/cgi-bin/simple" like it
suggests for direct access, I get an internal server error due to
premature end of script headers.
