Re: [mv] How are you picking up orders

****** message to minivend-users from "Keith Pettit" <keithp@censoft.com> ******

That sound like something we want to do. We have another client database,
and a seperate accounting database (not my idea) and I need to put some
information into both the databases.

Does your VB script do it on the fly, or is it like a cron job that runs
once a night? My big question would be how the tracking works, and how long
it would take to notify salses/accounting that there was an order.

I'm planning on using PHP, with this ODBC socket server to transfer the
information to the two databases. I'm using it right now with some web
forms, and since I'm using a DB with MiniVend it should be pretty easy to
grab the info I need. Once I figure out what to do with it :)

Thanks for the input.
