Re: [mv] How are you picking up orders

****** message to minivend-users from "Eran Binyamin Zeitoun" <eran_zeitoun@karmail.com> ******

Hi!
Such a thing in VB does need to be a cron job or somthing like this..., If
you work your minivend
with Mysql or any other sql, when you write down the transactions (if with
transaction.txt of
minivend or if by something u make (like we did)), you can scan this sql,
every x minutes to check if new order arrived...

Also another suggestion if we are dealing with Visual Basic, since minivend
send a copy of the
order to the store manage, you can hook up on an event, that whenevr an
e-mail will be recived
on the mail, VB will automaticly will go and read the order from the site.

Its quite easy when you use VB to handle minivend... well any microsoft
programing language will
be easy, if your minivend works in SQL already... If Minivend is working
with GDBM it will be a
little more complicated but still as easy as....

Eran.
