I like feed orders directly from minivend into our transactions database.
Orders are fulfilled from that database and all of the backend processes
directly utilize the same data (Inventory, accounting, etc..) This is harder
to do as it requires a bit of software customization and what-not, but the
coherency is nice.

If you already have a stable backend proccess..Writing something to remove
orders out of minivend and into that system is a pretty good idea..as
suggested earlier (below actually:)
