You should start over. Do not install mvend/ in your cgi-dir or htdocs
directory; install it somewhere above those. Ditto for catalogs/. Your
current configuration is not likely to be secure. In any case, this link

...is bogus. If anything, it should be:
http://www.tisbook.com/tools/simple/index.html
You might want to pull this up in your browser, just to see what you get.
