[mv] loop search on userdb?
****** message to minivend-users from Chris Rapier <rapier@psc.edu> ******
Is it illegal to do a [loop search= on the userdb? I'm using the
following code:
[loop search="fi=userdb.db/st=db/ra=yes"]
[loop-code] is the username<br>
[/loop]
to get a list of usernames.
When I execute the page its embedded in I get nothing. Not even a
is the username
on a line by itself.
If I change the code to
[loop search="fi=catopts.db/st=db/ra=yes"]
[loop-code] is the catalog name<br>
[/loop]
I get the first field for each entry in the catopts database... just
like I would expect. Is there something magical going on that I don't
understand as of yet?
I'm doing this because I need to create a routine to prevent a new user
from signing up for a new user bonus more than once. I was going to base
it on information in the user database but if I can't actually search
it...
