For the record, I prefer Postgresql over MySQL.  However, I 
believe that postgresql does not guarantee referential integrity.  
ie:

table1.row.field -> table2.row.key   // some record in table 1 
                                     // has a reference to some
                                     // record in table 2

If I deleted table2.row.key (and nothing else), we have a 
referential problem in table1.  Postgresql does not prevent
this type of problem from happening...
