RE: [mv] MySQL vs PostgreSQL
****** message to minivend-users from "Christopher Thompson" <ct@arborinternet.com> ******
I was at the MySQL site recently and noticed that in the last few releases
they have added support for BerkleyDB tables to MySQL. It sounds like if you
want commit/rollback you can select that feature on a table by table basis.
So you can have fast MySQL tables and slower BerkleyDB tables in the same
database. It doesn't add some of the other features that PostgreSQL has, but
it might be a good solution for some sites.
