I realize its alpha (and has problems) thats why its on my development
box and we still use 5.005_x for production :-) I actually do have MV
installed on the development box and it seems to function alright. Doug
(mod_perl author) was kind enough to provide patches for DBI, DBD::mysql
to allow them to compile, test, install, DBI 1.14 includes Doug's patches.
Since Apache 2.x/mod_perl is way down the road I'm sure libraries, modules,
etc. will be updated as problems are found.
Well I guess its time to go and see what I can learn about MV. We're just
getting into online shopping and there is definitely a bit of a learning
curve :-)
PS: I should probably mention and correct my previous post about Apache 2.x
/mod_perl requiring -DUSE_THREADS. Its only required if using one of
Apache's threaded process models, the standard forking module doesn't
need it.
