[mv] Problem uploading text databases with MiniMate

Hi list,
When using MiniMate (MV4.04) to upload new database text source files in
ascii mode (or binary) it inserts a carriage return after each line. If I
use an ftp program it works just fine, but I expect my client will use
MiniMate. I am exporting an Access tab delimited text file (which looks fine
locally), but carriage returns are present after upload to server. Both
Netscape 4.7 and IE 5.0 produce the same results. I checked the docs and
mail archive without success (other than references to text editors causing
this problem). Any clues?
