[mv] sanity check - multi products db's / [item-*]
****** message to minivend-users from Dave Barr <barrd@cricinfo.com> ******
Hi All,
[Debian 2.2 / Minivend 4.04]
I need a quick sanity check here phuleeeze..... ;)
I have set up 6 shops, all sharing the same HTML files, and sharing a
common products file (as well as shipping, & userdb). However each
shop has its own products file and using the ProductFiles directive I
have managed to get each shop to read the common products file and
its own personalised one.
The problem;
No matter what I try, any tag of the form [item-*] (in a loop
routine) results in 0.00 being displayed wether [item-price],
[item-subtotal] etc from the personalised products database (the
common products file works just fine...).
Both databases have been properly assigned in the catalog.cfg files
(they won't work as SQL dbs, so therefore have been configured for
dbm). I even added the PriceField directive even though the price
field *is* the default of price -- to no avail.
Am I missing something really obvious here?
As usual, any help, abuse, or comments most welcome...
With regards
Dave (the slightly confused)
P.S. If I remove the common products database and only run the
personalised products database (in the ProductFiles directive) it
works just fine...?!?
P.P.S. Changing it to any form of:
[currency][calc][item-field price][/calc][/currency] etc etc
Won't suffice as changing the quantity number (i.e. in basket.html)
won't be reflected with the correct price.... :(
...and anyway still won't fix [item-subtotal].
