I think all my problems lie in the other post you answered for me. on the
minivend.pid. Now as far as owner ship of the /usr/local/minivend it is all
owned by root. Now under that I have changed the catalog.cfg and entered a
valid username and password to log in to mysql and it still was trying to
log in as root with no password. Should I login as user minivend to do all
minivend work on the server? Should I change the ownership on the entire
minivend directory?
