Dear All,

There is a new Interchange preview release up at:

	ftp://ftp.minivend.com/pub/interchange/preview/

Both RedHat RPM and tar.gz files are there. 

There are major improvements. Highlights:

    -- Layout editor works well.
    -- New search builder seems to work well.
    -- Image uploader widget for item edit.
    -- Static page building works well from the UI.
    -- Symbolic preference sets for the Knar editor.
    -- Spreadsheet edit much improved.
    -- Improved auto-numbering support.
    -- [index ...] tag works again.
    -- Defaults to no Storable for MV databases. 8-(
    -- Installs (and works) fairly well with Postgres. 8-)
    -- New POSTCREATE parameter to build indexes for SQL.
    -- Interchange should work fairly well with all-DBM database.
    -- [on-match] area for opposite of [no-match].
    -- Added reverse_combo widget type, like combo_select.
    -- Fixed shipping limit/filter problems.
    -- New fallthrough variable type @_VARIABLE_@ for user then global.
    -- Showcases [PREFIX-exec] for very fast search-list subroutines;
       see catalog_before.cfg and config/leftside.
    -- All security fixes implemented.
    -- Many, many, bug fixes and minor improvements.

I could really use some help with the different database definitions;
in particular I am running afoul of the difference in NOT NULL between
MySQL and Postgres. Any other defs, such as Adabas, are definitely
welcome.
