Has this to do with the auto-increment fields of MySQL?

I am using many MySQL tables with auto_increment fields, but unfortunately, 
the Interchange UI doesn't handle this type of field properly. It is not 
possible to add new records with the UI. Complains about no-key etc.

How to get around this problem? Is this a bug?
