There are 2 good possibilities. You can install StarOffice for Windows
it's free and can make and output databases in several formats. The
other is to use any simple text program, Wordpad wil do and it comes
with Windows. The creation is simple put all of the field descriptions
on the first line of text. Separate each entry with a tab (3 spaces size
is good) or a bar (|). The next line should follow the same pattern with
the field entries matching. I do not reccommend this for databases of
more that a few (10  20) items with not more than 5 fields of small
entries. Good Luck.
