Re: [mv] Timed Out?

******    message to minivend-users from Russ Smith <goldstats@yahoo.com>     ******

Thanks Joachim,

I did catch myself before rebooting the server
and tooling thought the minivend.cfg file (yes
named the same in Interchange). Corrected the
httpd.conf file back to the right settings.

Then I changed the Minivend.cfg file to;
#ifdef TRAFFIC =~ /low/i
Message Low traffic settings.
HouseKeeping 5
MaxServers   0
PIDcheck     300
#endif

#ifdef TRAFFIC =~ /high/i
Message High traffic settings.
HouseKeeping 2
MaxServers   0
PIDcheck     120
#endif

And restarted both the webserver and Minivend.
Then went to my catalog admin (products file has
14,000 products) and clicked on Items icon in
Interchange.... 500 Error... (ServerLogs:
Premature end of script errors, Minivend
error.log: Nothing). Went to products table and
attemped an upload, nope another 500 error still
with the same error logs notations.

Seems I can FTP a new products file over, touch
it and all works in the catalog though, just
seems that the Interchange Items section and
table upload can not handle that many products,
But again I do not know...mmm

Also, I find that when doing a makecat (again
using Interchange 4.5.5) and choosing to use SQL,
I then prsent it with a username for SQL. It then
asks me if I want it to create a DB ... I amswer
Y and it attemps to log into SQL using my
minivend user name and not the SQL user name I
specified, then quits before it writes the LINK
cgi.

Thanks for any advice, even if it is install
4.04a and wait for Interchange development to
finish...lol

Thank
Russ Smith
