In my experience "premature end of script errors" means
that script (minivend in this case) is spitting errors 
to the web server **before** the proper HTML headers are sent.

See if there is any way to show the errors.  That would not be
a minivend issue, but a web server issue.  For example, if we start
our WN servers as daemons they normally detach and we don't see stdout.
But if we restart them on command line then stdout goes to that console.
I don't think that is standard behavior.  Look through your server 
docs to find references about viewing stdout from CGI scripts.
