Re: [mv] MySql DBI problems

****** message to minivend-users from "Rob Zimmerman" <rob@readysite.net> ******

I have just finished getting InterChange to work with MySql on a Solaris OS
and it took quite some time only becuase I had not installed all the proper
perl mods needed. My initial install of Perl5.6 did not include any DB_File
stuff. I saw a bundle::interchange at Cpan but I did not use it, I installed each
mod seperately listed in the POD file documents that come with the
interchange release. If I recall you cant install dbi::mysql before you have a
valid Berkeley install and things like that. They all need to pass the tests too.

I had to read each README file to see if other mods where also needed and
made a list in order of installing for my system. For example the Bundle_Lwp
requires other mods.

go to the src directory of your InterChange install and check out the pod
directory. Run pod2html on the docs and youll have some good web
references.
(pod2html -h for help)
