Oops, *I* was the one who read this wrong. I knew I stuck it in my
todo-list folder for some reason. 8-}

I will be looking at this one -- it is hard to do and keep state
for all of the lists, but I don't see that it is impossible. Quite
possibly, we will have to assign a label to each search and keep
a has of $More_in_progress variables.
