[mv] SQL/interchange problem

Here is a problem which appears after I import new products using Intechange:
I have an [item] tag in my catalog results page which has an [IF] statement around it. This tag
refences an image name. However when I load the flypage for my products a broken image link
appears if there is nothing in the image field. I double checked my text file and there are no
blank spaces in there, which would be one cause of this issue.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?? The only way i was able to solve this issue was to
issue the SQL command UPDATE products SET image="" where image=""
This changes something within the SQL and then the broken images are no longer there. However I
do not want to have to do this each time a record is added to the database.
