RE: [mv] MSSQL and Minivend
****** message to minivend-users from "Andy T. Tripp" <airtripp@fusionmicro.com> ******
Eran,
Thanks for the compliment on the site. I hate to bug you, but no one
else seems to have done this or at least are not friendly enough to share
with me. I have been trying to figure out a lot of this for some time
without succes so far. I think I understand the whole idea of how
everything should work. Unfortunately, I can not get much to work. For
starters, when you talked about the right modules, I assume you meant ODBC
drivers. Do you know where I can download the correct drivers?
Once I get the SQL database set up to be accessed from my linux box, it
is my understanding that I will need to set up my configuration file with
something similar to the following:
Database internet DSN dbi:odbc:TCP/IP 64.24.xx.xx 3389
Does this look right? I would appreciate any help in this process. Thanks a
lot!
Andy
