[mv] Must validate credit card - Error out of the blue

Hi all,

Strange problem.  We've been running minivend for 3 years now - version
3.05 on several sites.  Out of the blue on Oct 28 minivend stopped
validating credit cards and gives us the error message "must validate
credit card"

We have not done anything to minivend configuration, or the sites prior
to this.

Does anyone know why this happened and most importantly how to fix it?
