RE: [mv] Upgrading from Minived 4 to Interchange.
We built our site on a mysql backend. We use mysql for everything we can. We
just set no import to most tables and use php scripts to talk direct to
databases. Works very quickly and doesn't add to minivend server workload.
We can build order checking, shipping confirms and other goodies and re-use
as needed among clients.
Last store I built was the easy template and made a start to finish store
much faster to execute.
That's about a $.01 worth I know, but Ed's been at this longer.
