I wonder if someone can shed some light on how Minivend uses cookies.

I'm using Javascript to create an expandable menu system in place of the
default setup in the leftside file.  It uses cookies to retain the state
of the expandable menu so the proper outline is formed.  It works great
if I use
it in a page that's not parsed by Minivend.  However, as soon as I put
it in any page that Minivend parses, the state is not properly
maintained.  Now, I know Minivend also uses cookies by default, and I
have not turned off
this feature since I want to keep  it for proper operation.  It appears
that Minivend is somehow interfering with the state information  in the
cookie for proper operation of the expandable menu system.  Does anybody
out there
know how and when Minivend updates the  cookie information? I'm using
Netscape 4.05 as my browser.

Any insight would be appreciated.
