[ic] Secure Server Problems with vlink

I just set up my secure server, and I am running into a bizarre problem 
-- wondering if anyone has seen this before and knows how to fix it.

* these are not actual URLS:

When I go to <http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/vlink>
    I get the home page of the site no problem.

When I go to <https://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/vlink>
    I get some garbage -> ELF

I know the secure server is working, because I can go to
<http://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/test.pl> and
<https://www.mysite.com/cgi-bin/test.pl> and the test script executes
fine in both cases!
