I don't know if this is the case but i needed to keep a copy of products.asc
in my products directory even though i had a mSQL database and the database
in my catalog.cfg was set up to use mSQL.  I think it has something to do
with searching.  Also make sure the products.asc file has the fieldnames as
well.
