RE: Limiting number of showing products on a BROWSE page.

There are often questions like this and there is an easy answer for most of them. Here's what I do. Get the Minivend seach you want working using the [area] or [page] tag. Then just click on the link and copy everything on the URL line of you browser to the leftof the "?". Use that for the HREF in you non-minivend page.

I make quick static pages this way by saving the source to a page Minivend generated, then deleting everything from the "?" right in the URLs.

Hey Perl Gurus: how about writing a script that would read through an HTML file and strip off all of the Minvend session information at the end of the URLs to make a static page. It would convert all URLs from "../cgi-bin/simple/scan/se=blah?Fhd7Hdkj;;123" to "../cgi-bin/simple/scan/se=blah". Static page building for the rest of us.

Subject: Limiting number of showing products on a BROWSE page.

Hi all:
I am coming in from a non-minivend page, but would like to limit the number of items shown on the browse page to 25;  I know you can do with with the [page] directive, but how can I do this via the URL?

    I've already tried:

    http://mylovelydomainname.com/shoes.cgi/browse/ml=25

which gives me an error... any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Jason Korkin.
